Target – Cologne, Germany
Date – September 27, 1944

We bombed a marshalling yard by PFF [Pathfinder Force] as there was solid overcast over the target. The flak was moderate but all low. There were a good many enemy fighters in the air and I saw one jet fighter but he did not attack us.
